Inmaa Bank Data Center
Main Construction Works – Riyadh, KSA
The new Data Center shall be capable to accommodate the latest and future technologies (Virtualization, Blades, SAN, SSD Storage, SDN, Converged and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure.), as to host all the Core Network, Core Banking, and other mission-critical Systems and Applications.
The 120 racks will be housed in the same data hall, whereby Stage 1 shall have 3 PODs or 72 racks whereas Stage 2 will have 2 PODs or 48 racks. The racks will be distributed in a Hot Aisle /Cold Aisle manner, where every 24 racks will form one cold containment. The cold aisle containment will be used to improve the cooling system and provide an environment that can cater high-power density racks in excess of 10kW/rack. The cold aisle will be 2 tiles wide to ensure better airflow distribution. The online backup or Robot Tape Library and MDA (Core Network) environment will be both hosted inside the data hall.
Two fiber Entrance rooms are required, each being able to accommodate 4 distinct Access providers. The two fiber entrance rooms shall be fed from two diverse fiber manholes located outside the building and apart from each other by 20 meters at least. Each ISP communication rack will be sized at 1 kW/rack.
The planned IT infrastructure is based on a total average rack power density of 5 kW/rack.
